Burn partition to CD/DVD (require Windows XP sp2 or above)

. Want to make an permanent backup of your system to CD/DVD?

. Want to restore your system if it was crashed?

This demo will show you how to burn partition to CD/DVD with MagicCute Data Backup.

 Key Features:

1. High speed cloning, save your time. Up to 2000MB/min, ignore unused disk space, high performance data copy algorithm.

2. Support writting data to CD-R,CD-RW,DVD-R,DVD-RW,DVD+R,DVD+RW,DVD-R DL,DVD+R DL

3. Restore Hard drive/Partition in CD/DVD using Rescue CD. If your system is crashed or failed, you can use the Rescue CD to restore all the data in your CD/DVD backup. (Note: the first backup CD always contains the rescue program.)

4 . Support Volume Shadow Copy(VSS). You can burn the whole system to CD/DVD while browsing the webpages.

 Prepare:

1. CD/DVD burner: You should have a CD/DVD burner in your computer and this burner should works fine. For example, if your CD/DVD drive has a trademark like "RW - CD/DVD.Rewritable", your drive is a burner.

Writable discs: You should have enough writable discs (MagicCute Data Backup supports CDR / CDRW / DVDR / DVDRW / DVD-DL). Please do not use bad quality writable discs. These discs might make the data in your backup corrupted.

A cache folder: In order to burn the data to CD/DVD, you should have a place to hold the cache. For example, if you are cloning the partition to a 4.7GB DVDR, you should have a partition with 9.5GB free space. MagicCute Data Backup will find it and put/delete the cache in it automatically.

DO & DONOT

DO NOT use bad quality CD/DVD. Because bad quality CD/DVD will make the burning unstable. You backup might be corrupted. Use re-writable CD/DVD (CDRW or DVDRW) is not recommended. Because these discs have a very low burn speed.

DO NOT run a lot of programs while burning. Running a lot of programs will slow down the clone speed remarkably and make the burnning process failed. This is due to the fact that your CD/DVD burner will continuously write data during the burn process, thus data must be transferred without intermission. CD/DVD burners possess a buffer memory allowing them to store temporarily data, reducing the risks of having any intervals during the burn process.  Running a lot of programs may cause data is not transferred rapidly enough to the buffer memory. This can results to burn failed!

Prepare enough discs before burning. The wizard will tell you the approximate requirement of discs.
